The legendary GT Falcon!

The last and arguably the most refined of the breed with their four wheel disc brakes as standard equipment the XB range marked the last of the true Cleveland GTs from the seventies and were in every sense of the word a Grand Tourer, and as such they have rightly earned their place in the history books, and the impressive lineage of these iconic cars.

This absolutely stunning NZ New XB GT would be one of the last built having been produced in April of 1976 making it a rare car.

Rarer still is the highly prized Tango Orange colour scheme, which with the factory black outs is simply stunning in the flesh.

A solid clean example this XB has survived the decades to still be with us today, and was optioned with the four speed manual transmission, and is a factory power steering car making it a pleasure to drive with lovely road manners.

The body work presents very well with good panel fitment and nice straight panels and although an older cosmetic refurbishment has been carried out in the past it was clearly a decent car and had a decent closed door repaint performed, as the paintwork presents well with only minor blemishes as would be expected for an unrestored car of this age.

The interior is very tidy and reflects the cherished life this GT has enjoyed with very good door trims and seating all in very good original condition and presenting well, complete with its genuine steering wheel, sports dash layout and console etc.

The running gear consists of a healthy and slightly warmed up lumpy 351 with early 4v DOT heads, a decent alloy intake and headers which all makes for a car that performs very well coupled to a nice shifting Borg Warner 4 speed and on into the nine inch disc brake rear, with upgraded brake rotors and upgraded springs and sway bars to make a decent handling road car out of this GT.

This clean old GT has clearly been someones pride and joy at some point and has done a few shows as its clearly been pretty highly detailed in the past.

Lowered down a little on early CSA 15 X 7 Globes which have been refurbished, and with the front and rear wings this GT cuts an imposing presence on the road, and looks all Aussie muscle!
