The original true American Sports Car, the Iconic Corvette Stingray!

This stunning old Stingray is the last of the traditional "Sugar Scoop" back window cars and arguably the most stylish of the soft nose cars from the later part of the Seventies.

Unmolested Corvettes from this era are quite pleasant to drive if they have been treated well, and this one fits into that category nicely.

Previously sold by us over 10 years ago now, this was a nice car then, and is even better now as it has remained with its doting owner the whole time, and has wanted for absolutely nothing with extensive mechanical maintenance receipts for suspension and brake work, among other things, and has recently had the rear end rebuilt, so drives nice and tight and is a real pleasure on the road.

The super smooth original matching numbers 350 ci small block is very happy in its work and runs into a lovely tight 4 speed transmission with power steering and power brakes all playing a part in making this old Vette a real honey to drive.

A good clean dry original body is complemented by decent paintwork in sparkling silver and this example has clearly been kept inside undercover over the decades retaining an overall decent finish for a well kept driver quality car.

The tidy original Deluxe interior is finished in soft Blue Leather which looks really smart against the silver bodywork, and although now 44 years old displays evidence of having had a pretty decent life, and appears complete and functional without the usual broken and smashed plastics that most of these now have, and this one has also been treated to a new rubber kit fairly recently.

The options ticked on the day also extended to power tinted windows, Tilt Tele steering, and the Deluxe interior package with plush pile carpet and Deluxe door trims.

Factory 8 slot polished alloys and white lettered tires give that cool Muscle Car look to this classic Vette, and with the T-Tops off on a decent day it's like driving an open top Sports car, with that lovely V8 rumble.

Well worth a look if you want a nice easy to live with classic Corvette that performs the way it should, and one that hasn't been mucked around with.
