Sold and delivered brand new on 23/08/78 1977 by L H Johnson Motors Ltd of New Plymouth this amazing HX Premier looks like the day it rolled out of the showroom nearly forty years ago!

To say this car is an immaculate survivor would be an absolute understatement.....

This absolute time warp example has travelled a genuine recorded 63,000 Kms! not 163kms.. 63kms, and it looks, drives, and smells just like it would have way back in 77,

The super straight and solid body is in amazing condition and appears to still be wearing its original coat of striking Persian Sand metallic bronze, complemented by completely undisturbed chrome trim and bright work which is also in excellent order. The complete interior is almost unbelievable, with the factory cloth, vinyl and carpet still looking brand new, and making you honestly feel like you are looking at the interior of a near new car!

The inner door shuts and trunk area are a completely undisturbed and totally original with the latter retaining the original jack which appears to have probably never been used, and the original equipment spare tire.

Refreshingly the original and unmolested engine bay is complete with the original air cleaner and original manifolds, and still looks authentic and correct.

Ordered from new with the High Compression 308 V8 engine and power steering this old girl drives superbly, making just the right noise and giving a really nice user friendly feel from what was quite clearly a very good quality late seventies Australian Luxury Sedan.

This magnificent Premier retains all of its original books and documents, and even retains the original L H Johnson GM dealers detailing cloth!
