A really nice clean example of the iconic Corvette!

This stunning 78 Corvette has been the subject of a comprehensive cosmetic refurbishment and as a result is looking fantastic throughout today.

Showing 34,000 miles, this is a really tight driving example without all of the usual well use Corvette rattles and squeaks associated with the model, and this example is refreshingly just a lovely old car to drive.

The bodywork is very clean showing no obvious signs of previous damage or repairs, and has recently been refinished in a Deep Plum burgundy metallic which enhances the stunning iconic lines of this model to perfection.

The interior in this example is also really nice finished in a beautiful bone white which really looks the part, and has all of the usual fruit like power tinted glass, T-Tops, Tilt Tele Steer and the leather wrapped steering wheel. The interior of a C3 of this vintage is an area which generally reflects the life a Corvette has lived, and on inspection it's pretty clear this one's been treated pretty well over the years, presenting very well today and as it displays in the images.

The 4 barrel 350 cubic inch small block engine is performing nicely, and is a strong robust L-48 spec unit, coupled up to the Automatic transmission, so it's a no fuss nice driver with great manners, and power assisted steering and brakes round the package out nicely.

1978 was a big year for Americas One True Sports Car, as it was the Silver Anniversary year, with a few new changes made like the big wrap around rear glass giving better storage room and visibility, and this one takes it a step further with a very rare opening rear hatch, which is a highly desirable accessory for the time, and a very rare accessory today.

Factory original deep dish polished alloys shod in period style raised white letter tires looks spot on on this example and the package presents well, with an authentic appearance.

A very nice sharp looking example of the model with really nice appearance and drivability, this is one of the nicest C3s we have seen in quite a while.

Inspection will impress a genuine buyer for one of these cars, a good one is now quite hard to find, as unfortunately most have had a tough life and it shows...

C3 Corvettes really are one of the most undervalued Classic American Muscle Cars of our time, surly this must be due to change, as for now a good one represents a lot of car for your money compared to any of the earlier generation cars....
