What an absolute little Honey!

This stunning survivor NZ New Mk4 Cortina would simply have to be one of the best original examples left in existence.

A genuine ONE OWNER Christchurch new car, this example was purchased brand new in July 78 from Hutchison Motors the big Ford Dealers here in CH CH, and has lived in Canterbury its entire life.

Its doting, but sadly recently deceased owner clearly kept this example garaged, and completely cherished it from day one, he clearly worked hard to buy a new car, and respected it accordingly, It is probably as close as you would ever get to seeing one new off the showroom floor in 1978, she still even has the original hand books and key fob!

The body is beautifully straight and displays what appears to be the original paintwork around the entire body with only the odd little pencil touch if you look hard enough... but it's never damaged, never been welded, and has its original perfect chrome bumper blades and genuine Ford lenses all around.

The interior is immaculate, no cracks in the dash, no staining, and the original carpets are still in place having had protective mats over them for the last 42 years.

The engine bay, door shuts and boot areas are just as good as the rest of the car, and it is almost unbelievable that you are actually looking at a car that is now over 40 years of age...

The trusty old 2.0 over head cam engine runs nicely and is more than capable of keeping up with today's traffic, and the manual gearbox shifts nicely, over all, this is a very user friendly easy car to drive.

Original never painted Rostyle wheels with the correct caps and wheel bands finish this example off to perfection, and this little Cortina drives just like they did way back in 78!
