Sold by us many years ago as a fresh US import, this clean original old Corvette has travelled what is believed to be a genuine 80,000 miles, and it's still a very nice authentic car, it's also a very well optioned example too, with saddle leather trim, Tilt/Tele steering, full electrics, mirror tinted glass T-Tops, and tinted electric windows.
The very original body has nice panel fitment, showing no signs of any previous damage repair, and the clean tidy mostly original paintwork in the original colour still presents very well being further complemented by an original set of the factory polished alloys, to finish the overall appearance off nicely.
A good strong lively performer, this example has recently had quite a lot of time and money invested in the engine compartment, included in the upgrade are high quality alloy heads and a performer alloy inlet manifold, topped with a new carb, along with a full MSD ignition system, and tuned length headers, so this really is the best of both worlds, offering nice overall user friendly drivability, nice road manners, yet very surprising performance! and that's a combination that's quite hard to get right....
Returning a nice tight on road feel, this clean old C3 is an absolute pleasure to drive in the 4 speed manual, it makes the dead right sound, and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face!
Always a popular model especially in this condition, this is the last of the original carburettor cars, and the last of the 4 Speed manual C3s, they are arguably the best driving and most refined of the C3 range, and are becoming increasingly harder to find in this condition today.
