1981 was a good year for the legendary Corvette, almost the last of the C3 model run, and the last of the carburetted cars, these Corvettes generally had lots of options and fruit as standard equipment, and this example was ordered with the L-81 350 cubic inch engine, coupled up to a 4 speed manual transmission, so is quite a bit of fun to drive, and quickly makes you realise you are driving an example of Americas Original Sports Car!

The tidy clean body on this old Vette has been fairly recently refinished in a Two tone deep Sapphire blue over Midnight Black which enhances the unmistakable lines of the aggressive C3 shape, and this example is complemented further with a full black interior which has also received some recent refurbishment, along with a new rubber kit.

A well optioned car, power brakes, power steering, tinted glass, power windows, and tilt tele are all on the list, while Factory removable Mirrored T-Tops are a trade mark of the iconic model.

The original matching numbers engine is still in place, and appears to have been woken up a bit with an upgraded more lively cam, a Weiand manifold, Big Holley carb, and extractors, so performance is quite a bit more than stock, and the package drives and performs well, with pretty decent road manners.

Wide American polished alloys wrapped in nice big white lettered BFGs really look the part, and complement the overall appearance package of this tough looking Vette, and give it a bit of a unique style that certainly stands out.
