A nice original unmolested example of a land mark one year only model of Americas one true Sports car!

The legendary C3 Model Corvette is arguably one of the best if not the best shapes for the iconic model, and the very last examples were the 1982 C3s which arrived in time for the delayed release of the upcoming C4 and as such had the running gear destined for the C4 next generation model, so in some minds where the most refined of the C3 cars.

GM opted for the latest in technology for the 82 Corvette and for the first time the all new Cross Fire Fuel Injection System and 4 stage Automatic transmission became the standard fare.
Up on horse power on the previous model by 10 percent, and with an extra gear these cars would have really created a stir..
Unfairly criticised by some and often misunderstood at the time the Cross Fire is a rare find on an 82 today, and if its working as it should be is still a pleasure to drive.

This example is no exception, it has stood the test of time in its original specification, and is a very nice original and now rare old survivor which is complete with all of the original Fuel Injection system in place and still performing well today.

The body is very honest and clean on this example with what appears to be a lot of its original paint so as expected has a bit of wear, but over all presents very well having come out of dry San Diego originally, with only the one family ownership here in Canterbury.

The interior which instantly tells the story of a Corvettes previous treatment more than any other car, is a joy in this example with everything in its place and no smashed plastic or badly worn out trim.

A well optioned example this clean old Vette was born black on black and has all of the usual fruit including power windows, power door locks and seat, and factory tinted glass along with the iconic T-Tops lift out roof panels which still have the little travel bags.

Original polished alloys with period wide BFGs looks great on this Corvette, and set off nicely against the jet black finish.

A nice performer with decent road manners this is now getting to be a hard car to replace in such honest original order, so if you have been hankering for a nice old C3 Corvette that wont break the budget and will treat you well in the future, the search may well be over.

Inspection will impress a genuine buyer who understands the value in a good honest original old car, and this example also comes with quite an extensive maintenance file of receipts from both here and in the US.
