A very original and super honest NZ new EB II Fairmont in totally unmolested condition, having travelled a mere genuine 150k kms!

Sold and delivered new by Regional Ford in Gore to Mr and Mrs Smith of rural Kaiwera on the 30/06/93 this example remained in their care for the next 22+ years!

Retaining its original books and some paperwork from new, this clean old survivor has luckily managed to avoid the usual chopped springs and matt black pub boozer treatment that many received to still be presented in its current true to original style, making it a rare car today.

The body is very straight and solid retaining what appears to be almost all of its original paintwork right down to the bonnet which although lightly stone chipped has only been pencilled in the past to remain honest in its appearance, and you really have to look hard to spot any minor marks from age and use in the exterior over all.

The bumpers have the original grey factory finish and have not been messed about with along with the door trims which still have nice chrome inserts.

The interior is still like new with the original Fairmont high grade cloth and wall to wall carpet, and this one retains its original Ford security coded stereo system from new.

Unbelievably the electric windows all still work (at the moment!) and this example came equipped with the ABS braking system and smart lock.

Recently professionally refurbished factory saw blade alloys and decent new tires make this EB really stand out in the crowd and look pretty much just like she would have when delivered brand new almost 30 years ago!

With the prices of anything Australian with a blue oval going ever skyward this would surely be a wise future investment as well being a nice enjoyable and very capable Sunday cruiser, while still being quite an affordable investment classic, at least for now......

A good honest classic Fairmont with plenty of scope for the future.
