A bit a of a rarity these days, a nice clean unmolested BA XR8 BOSS 260 that hasnt been thrashed to death!

A big deal when originally released the BA XR8 really had the look, and still does, after the styling of the mighty AU these BA XRs really looked the part with the trademark XR headlamps and raised bonnet power bulge.

This example is refreshingly clean and has clearly lived a pretty decent life. Sold new on the 17 September 04 from Metro Ford this Boss has only travelled circa 135kms in its almost 20 years on the road, and performs well and drives just as it should.

The body is clean and straight with very nice paintwork showing none of the usual clear coat issues and everything is in its place.

The interior is finished in black leather and even the cup holder still works!

The big Boss 260 is coupled up to an automatic transmission, and with the addition of a slightly upgraded performance exhaust system this one sounds just like a proper V8 should!

A nice original set of alloys and the original ride height are nice to see and finished in Jet black with silver GT style striping this XR cuts a striking presence on the road.

A lovely example that if kept in this condition is sure to be a future collectable.

Get a good honest example while you can, as these cars represent a lot of car for the money in a V8 Falcon and they will probably never be cheaper than they are today....
