This magnificent replica Cobra has clearly been an absolute labour of love for its builder/owner, which is evident throughout the entire build.

Built locally and first registered here on the road in 2007 this Cobra was built from a Wilson Classic Sports Car kit, and as such has been built to a high standard of finish which becomes very obvious on inspection....

The under pinning's of this Cobra consist of a multi tube triangulated back bone chassis with stressed seam welded panels for the front and rear bulkheads, floors ,foot boxes, and transmission tunnel, all very nicely finished, while starting out the back the rear suspension came from an XJ6 Jaguar so has inboards disc brakes and is all highly polished with fully rebuilt half shafts and a fully rebuilt LSD centre, re-built specifically for the weight of this particular car, in an effort to make the most of the power produced, with a fully fabricated front suspension system up front built with custom tubular A-arms incorporating a Torana rack and pinion, and HQ Holden stubs with new performance rotors and Outlaw callipers, all suspension bushes are urethane, and everything is either powder coated or polished, and again all finished to a high standard.

The engine of choice is the time tested trusted ever reliable 350 ci small block Chevrolet which is very lively and a strong performer, especially in a body of this weight, coupled to a TH 350 automatic transmission, making the package over all very user friendly, but more than capable of increasing your heart rate if provoked!

The body is a 427 Shelby Cobra replica reproduction, so has the huge bulging flares giving the low slung body and even more aggressive stance, and this was finished after hours of preparation in a custom candy mix metallic red complemented by silver run way stripes, and with the huge offset billet alloys it all comes together for a very impressive package!

Many thousands of man hours and many more thousands of dollars have gone into creating what is on offer here, this example is being offered for around half of its build and replacement cost to this calibre, so represents exceptional value in the market today, fully sorted, proven and ready to go right now.
