The FPV GT 40th Anniversary commemorated 40 years of the Australian Falcon GT legend, dating back to the original Grandad that started it all, the mighty Gold 1967 XR Falcon GTs.

This stunning example is one of only 200 special numbered limited edition units manufactured in total, and one of only 15 units sold and delivered new in New Zealand that were produced in 2007, being the anniversary year. Each GT 40 came with a unique build number and certificate of authenticity, this is build number 97.

All examples of the GT40 limited edition cars were finished Silhouette black complemented by the sparkling gold stripe kit, and this one has had the Shaker induction system and performance exhaust package which is claimed to bring the power up to 315 kw (Note - We have never had this beautiful car on a dyno, nor would we, so this information is believed to be correct, yet not confirmed)

In addition to the unique 40th Anniversary features that transform the GT visually, FPV has also designed a new suspension package to take the handling ability to new heights.
Build number 97 is powered by the Boss version of FPVs 5.4-litre V8, coupled to the Six speed automatic transmission.
Produced in R Spec, this special car also received recalibrated dampers with matching springs. FPV floor mats with 40th Anniversary logo inlay, MP3 audio player connection, FPV audio system, Unique GT-P 19-inch alloy wheels. Upgraded Brembo brakes.
