The quintessential Hot Rod the iconic 32 three window Deuce Coupe!

This stunning Coupe is a very well-known and well-travelled Hot Rod coming to us from its one and only long term owner in the Deep South.

Originally commissioned and built by the well-respected Magoos Street Rods in Masterton this example runs a chopped Osborne body on a repro boxed frame and was originally powered by a Hot Flattie which initially served her well, but as time went on and a lot of road trips started taking place the decision was made to fit a far more suitable and reliable turn key fresh crate small block 302 Ford coupled to an auto transmission and on into a trusty nine Inch.

The sweet little 302 is dressed with some nice goodies including an fresh Holley sitting on the Edelbrock performer manifold, and custom tuned headers, with some chrome dress up gear, and looks all the part with the open sides of the hood proudly exposing the Ford engine in pride of place.

The old Side valve came out at circa 10k miles, and the small block has done just under half of that now, so is well settled in and sorted giving a great feel and feedback to the driver with great road manners for a Hot Rod of this style.

The front end is a custom fabricated Osborne four link unit with coil overs and rack and pinion steering, while out back the nine inch is also suspended by coil overs, giving a nice ride over all.

Although a little older build now the presentation is still very good on this gorgeous Coupe, the body presents well with nice gaps and finish, and the paintwork is really nice with a lovely deep gloss to the jet black hue along with tasteful red panels and 32 race numbers breaking up the black, paying tribute the old Riverside Stockcar Track of years gone by, and the history connected to the Coupes owners.

The interior is very tastefully done with black leather and treats the occupants to a very comfortable seating position for a chopped car with some nice touches like the lime works colour old speedway style Grant wheel Locar shifter and tinted electric windows.

The chrome and brightwork is all still in excellent condition and the big and little tires theme with traditional Ford Script caps and bands set this old couple off nicely.

Fully LVVTA certified and fully road legal, this coupe represents a whole lot of car for your money, it would certainly cost more than double this amount to replace this car today, and by comparison to what else is available its a bargain, so if you have been promising yourself a decent Coupe one of these days, you better move quick as anyone who has ever done the sums will know this cool old Coupe is priced to go.
